211 Judean Wilderness
In the End-Times Jesus tells the Jews to flee to the mountains when the Antichrist appears in the third Jewish
Temple. The Judean Wilderness may be where He was telling them to go. "15 When ye therefore shall see
the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth,
let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains." (Matthew 24:15-16)
Some believe they will keep going all the way to Petra Jordan. The Book of Revelation seems to indicate
this also. "13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman
which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle,
that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and
times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent." (Revelation 12:13-14)
